About Us

International Relief Foundation Serving Humanity, Saving Lives and Rebuilding Communities.

Our Vision

It envisions a world in which every man, woman and child can enjoy an empowered life with security, dignity and equal opportunities. The basic requirements of all people are fulfilled.

Our Mission

Our mission is poverty alleviation among vulnerable members globally and to develop healthy and sustainable communities and achieve lasting improvement in the quality of life of all people.

International Relief Foundation (IRF) is a registered charitable organisation in the United Kingdom established in 2011 and working for social good in the United Kingdom and abroad.

Our primary aim is to provide relief and assistance to people in need in any part of the world and supporting individuals and communities suffering from prolonged periods of violence, war and catastrophe.

It was founded in response to a devastating drought and widespread famine in Somalia that killed 260,000 people and affected more than 13 million people across the Horn of Africa.

The International Relief Foundation helps people whose lives and livelihoods are devastated by conflict and disaster to survive, recover and regain control of their future. Since 2011, we have been delivering humanitarian aid and development programs to transform the lives of people in need who are the victims of war, disaster, and the cycle of poverty.

Our Approach

Step 1 - Identify Need

We review initial reports on and existing proposals for communities to identify where our work is needed the most and can have the greatest impact.

Step 2 - Local Team

We establish a team in the area we may work in to gain valuable insights and to establish links with local organisations and the people we may potentially help.

Step 3 - Research

We conduct a thorough evaluation of the potential project. This includes an inspection of the area, feasibility study and risk assessment.

Step 4 - Delivery Plan

If we decide to go ahead with a project, we develop a delivery plan for our food support that will have an immediate and long-term positive impact.
