Governance
The International Relief Foundation (IRF) was initially registered as a charitable organisation, a company limited by guarantee, on 27 September 2011. We were officially registered with the Charity Commission in 2015 under registration number 1163745.
Our Board of Trustees, who also serve as directors of the International Relief Foundation under company law, are responsible for overseeing IRF’s strategic direction. They act as guardians of our mission and are ultimately accountable for the organisation. The Board typically meets every three months and is responsible for decisions related to the appointment, suspension, or removal of IRF members.
