International Relief Foundation (IRF) has distributed medical equipment to Forlanini General Hospital, also known as (Lazaretti ), in Abdi Aziz district, north Mogadishu.

It is one of Mogadishu’s most prominent and only mental hospitals and plays a significant role in this City of Conflict community. Companions of the Order of Malta donated these.

Rt Hon Sharif Mohamed Said, an important member of the Federal Parliament of Somalia and the International Relief Foundation founder, presided over the donation.

The Director of the Forlanini Hospital, Drs. Fadumo Abdi Ma’ow warmly appreciated the donation while highlighting the necessity for more equipment to meet the local population’s needs.
